History of The Shepherd of the Hills

Our Cradle Roll program is designed to provide parents of children birth to five years with faith development resources and support. These materials help parents get acclimated to our church and our Children’s and Family Ministry program. In the past year, this has included books and cards sent to acknowledge child’s baptismal birthday, some home visits with meal deliveries for families with children ages 0-5. Gail Landskron and Laura Krueger are currently heading up this program.

First Communion worship services will be held on a Sunday, late October at either service. At Shepherd of the Hills Church , you’ll be welcomed into a friendly, casual environment by people who are excited to see you. A typical service at SOTH will have a time of singing and a relevant message based on biblical truth. We focus on Jesus Christ and teach biblical messages that are practical and can be applied right away. I knew there was a need for more teachers in the Sunday school program and although it’s been a while since I’ve read many of the Bible stories, I’m excited to learn them alongside my first grader, Emma. During their formative years, our children are sponges and hang on to every ounce of information presented to them but also feel really special when we take the time to be a part of their journey. I hope to have a positive impact not only on Emma but every child that crosses my path in the Sunday School Program so each one of them knows they are an amazing gift from God.
